THE SEASON HAS STARTED
The view from the tee box on #15 in the springtime The view from the tee box on #15 in the springtime
April 23rd 2008 - Well the season has begun as the Men's Club Opener took place on April 19th. We got off to wet start for the first 45 minutes but turned out to be a not so bad day. Thanks to all those who played on what turned out to be a great day of golf. Congratulations to Bill Vinton, George Gunderman, and Jim Melson for winning the event. Tuesday Men's Nights has also started with great turn outs the last couple of weeks. This week we hope to equal big numbers as Men's Night moves back to 5:30 where it will stay for the rest of the season. Sign up in the golf shop today. Congratulations to last nights winners Mondary, Swann, Murphy, Martin who shot a fine 16 under in the game of Birdie Barrage. Don't forget to sign up for Men's Event #2 by this thursday at noon with tee times starting at 8:30. The format is Team Points which keeps everybody in the game and should be a lot of fun. Check the calendar for upcoming events so you don't miss out.

The Ladies Club has not yet started but will be up and going on May 13th with tee times beginning at 8:00. The ladies play 18 holes each week. The club has grown a little every year and hopefully will do so again this year. The cost is only $75 to join which includes discounted green fees on Tuesdays for non members and 20% off all shop merchandise. It is a great way to meet new people and compete in a fun atmosphere with all different abilities.

For any information on either our Men's and Ladies Club be sure to call 892-PUTT where someone will be happy to help you.

Don't forget to check out our Turf Tips and Men's Club pages for weekly information from Fiscus on grass and Travis on Points.

BREAKING NEWS!!!
The course did just recently change ownership on last friday April 18th. One of the new owners is Greg Hole who also owns and operates Tomahawk Hills in Jamestown. We do have a few changes in the rates and membership dues, so make sure you check out the rates link on the right of the screen.
